| What? |
The race is a two day (mostly) trail run in a stage format. Racers with run
about 44 kilometers (26 miles) on the first day and about 25 kilometers (15 miles) on the second day. The
terrain is mostly trails (75%) and a bit of country
roads (25%). There are a few significant climbs (to get up and out of the
gorge), but mostly, the course is rolling trails that contour along the gorge.
There are also shorter running options on both days.
On day 1, you can do 5, 10, 18, or the full 26 miles.
On day 2, you can do 8 or the full 15 miles.

| Where? |
The race course will be on both sides of the river in New River Gorge near Fayetteville, WV.
|
| When? |
The race is during the peak leaf season on the weekend of 25-27 October 2013. Check-in will be on Friday, October 25.
|
| How Much? |
It is $350 to be an official competitor. Guests can come for $250.
Runners who register after August 15th won't get any race apparel.

| What's Included? |
Racers will get 2 nights lodging in cabins with hot tubs, 6 catered meals, awards, prizes, a fleece, finisher awards, camaraderie, and tons of fun!
There will also be a yoga teacher and a massage therapist on site.

We are hoping to have 40-50 ultra runners for all over the US/Canada that enjoy trail running and serious relaxing afterwards!

| Why? |
We want to promote the sport of trail running and also provide a venue for getting to know some other trail runners.
